I'm Not There received the inaugural Robert Altman Award at the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, February 23th, 2008 in Santa Monica, CA. The award is presented to a film's director, casting director and its ensemble cast. Bruce attended the event with director Todd Haynes, casting director Laura Rosenthal, and co-stars Marcus Carl Franklin and Cate Blanchett.
