Personal AppearancesBruce participated in the second annual Dave Thomas Classic held in September at the Marbella Club on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The event raised money for TEAM Research, a charitable organization that raises funds for the medical research programmes of the UK-based Northwick Park Institute of Medical Research (NPIMR). Dave Thomas, a former British golf pro who designed the Marbella course, attended with his son Paul and was joined by Terry Venables, Willie Morgan, Bruce Forsyth, Ronnie Corbett, Russ Abbott, and Don Felder. Bruce performed a song at the after dinner show that also included performances from Corbett & Abbott and Don Felder.
