A&E's Biography series featured Melissa Gilbert during October 1999 and broadcast the show to coincide with the airing of her tv movie Soul Collector. Although the bio covered her entire life and career, the movie was featured prominently in the opening scenes and Bruce Greenwood was interviewed about working with Melissa. His comments follow:
She's really in the moment....as an actress. She's just...Whatever you're giving her, she feeds off. She really doesn't come in with a plan of exactly how to do something, and ride that in defiance of all the other stuff that's coming in. Whatever you feed her - she'll...she's easy to play with....and just toss it; she'll toss it back!
