Bruce Greenwood's second dog project in a year is an independent comedy concerning Hollywood's most famous canine star, a pampered dog named Rexxx. After the dog is lost, he is ultimately adopted by a down-and-out firehouse. Bruce plays the fire chief as well as the father of Josh Hutcherson, the boy who befriends Rexxx.

The movie was shot in the Fall of 2005 in Toronto under the direction of Todd Holland (famous for Malcolm in the Middle) from a script by Claire-Dee Lim, Mike Werb and Michael Colleary. Along with featured players Bruce Greenwood and Josh Hutcherson, the film will co-star Bree Turner as Rexxx's Hollywood owner, Dash Mihok, and Bruce's Thirteen Days co-star Steven Culp.

The film is slated for an April 4th, 2007 release. Trailers are currently available, and early buzz is impressive. The movie has been awarded the Film Advisory Seal of Approval.
