A short-lived television drama starring Lindsay Wagner as Dr. Jessie Hayden, a psychiatrist employed by a fictional Southern California police department. Bruce Greenwood guested on the second and third episodes in a very small role as a police detective working alongside series regular Tony Lo Bianco. It's possible his role was intended to become part of the regular ensemble, but the series only ran from September 18 to November 13, 1984 with several pre-emptions that no doubt hastened the show's demise. Whatever the reasons, Greenwood's part remained very much in the background of the two episodes in which he appeared. The show was built around the premise that a psychiatrist could bring some needed sensitivity to police procedures, with Wagner's Dr. Hayden constantly at odds with the hard nosed staff around her. Celeste Holm co-starred as her supportive mother.
