Welcome to The Bruce Greenwood Website.

In 2001 we obtained this very special domain name, which was presented to the site through the cooperation of celebsites.com and Bruce Greenwood. The new name and location is both a privilege and a responsibility, so the site is constantly under renovation. Although all Bruce's movies are up now, there may still be some broken links.  Also, full information is not available for every episode of every TV series, so those will continue to evolve. The only area not up at all now is the Mall and the Fan Connection is still only partially done. Both are low priorities, but will be worked on as time allows.

Added yet another new interview to Internet Interviews & Chats.  Added a few new reviews and an article to the I'm Not There section.  Also updated the Latest News section with info on I'm Not There's Independent Spirit Award nominations.  And in case someone was looking for it:  while a variety of web sites are reporting that Bruce voices a character in the upcoming Disney animated feature, Bolt, he is not connected to this film.

The Beachcombers page has been updated with episode information - it may very well have been Bruce's very first on-screen appearance!  Some of Coleen's finds have been added: a photo from the 1987 Emmy Awards and the photo and article from the Vale Royal Abbey Celebrity Golf Tournament. The I'm Not There page has also been updated and a few small screen caps added.

Bruce did not appear in the sixth episode of John from Cincinnati - no doubt this was filmed during his hiatus to Washington to film National Treasure 2. A synopsis will be done on this episode just to keep the story lines clear, but nothing else. However, more captures have been completed - this time for His Visit: Day Two, Continued, the third episode.

Once again, all this week's updates are to John from Cincinnati. Tonight's episode, His Visit: Day Four has the synopsis up along with full Credits. Not so noticeable, perhaps, there's a new background throughout - hopefully with an ocean look to it. Also, we've begun the process of adding photo captures. This week episode one - His Visit: Day One Captures was completed. A new Photo Captures page has been added as well, to link other pages up as they're completed.

Lots of updates to John from Cincinnati today. Tonight's episode His Visit: Day Three has a full synopsis up and full Credits. A new and interesting site called "The Unofficial Yost Clan Fan Site" has been linked on the Related Sites page, a new interview with Bruce from TV Guide has been added to the Printed Articles directory (which includes the needed password) and it's been linked from a new John from Cincinnati Interviews page, as well. Three new Mitch Yost environmental videos have been linked to the Promos page, and finally, the July TV Alert is on the Latest News page and from that information, new blurbs have been added to upcoming Episodes.

Five additional Printed Articles have been fully reformatted and added to the site - four of them pertain to Bruce's early breakthrough role as Dennis Wilson in Summer Dreams: the story of the Beach Boys, and the last one is a final interview with him while he was playing Dr. Seth Griffin on St. Elsewhere. This was such an important role for Bruce that most of the remaining interviews will be dealing with that show. The newest interviews to be added are: Record of N.J. 4/29/90, TV Guide 4/28/90, Daily News of L.A. 4/27/90, the San Jose Mercury News 4/26/90 and the Canadian magazine Flare 1/89.

Five more older Printed Articles have been added to the site - one more concerning Bruce's addition to the cast of Knots Landing, one om his dual roles in 1989's Twist of Fate and the other three are interviews with Bruce about his movie The Little Kidnappers from 1990. The new/old additions are: TV Guide 9/21/90, Canadian TV Guide 10/20/90, (Saskatoon) Herald Sun 10/19/90, the (Melbourne) Herald Sun 10/10/90 and the Disney Channel Magazine 9/90. Bruce's new series John From Cincinnati debuts tonight on HBO, so there are quite a few additions to those pages. Several new Articles have been linked and there are two new Published Photos. The first three Episodes have been updated and three new pages have been created: one for Reviews of Bruce's performance; another for Bruce's Quotes about the show and a third to link the various Video Promos that are available on the show.

A special behind-the-scenes documentary called The Making of John From Cincinnati aired this week on HBO and a page has been created on that within the TV Interviews directory, and finally our coverage of the John From Cincinnati Premiere can be found in the Personal Appearances directory.

Episodes as well as the behind-the-scenes documentary have multiple air dates over the various HBO stations, so be sure to check the TV Alert that can be found at the bottom of The Latest News page.

The biggest news right now is that Bruce's HBO series John From Cincinnati will be premiering in less than a week. There's so much new material to ad, I've only just begun, but there are new Articles, a page on Characters, a few new Photos and a new page on Related Sites that includes a link to HBO where you can view clips from the show and a link to a new wiki on the program that's loaded with information. I've also added a new Episode Guide with links to the first three shows. The information there is on HBO and TV Guide's teasers, but they will, of course, be expanded after they've been aired. The reviews so far are ecstatic, by the way, so this looks to be an important upcoming credit for Bruce.

And one quick correction. For two days last week we had the information up that Bruce was doing the voice in a new film by the creators of Lilo and Stitch called "American Dog." Even though that information can be found in the IMDb, Bruce informs us the information is incorrect, so we've removed that information from the page. Our apologies to everybody!

Two big items this week. First, Firehouse Dog is now officially released. Although no reviews have popped up thus far, the page has been updated and the bio from Press Kit has been added.

On March 30th 20th Century Fox held a special Firehouse Dog Event which took place at an L.A. station to benefit canines associated with fire departments. The event was in lieu of an official premiere and the entire cast attended. Full coverage and some photos have been added to the new page, which can be found within the Personal Directory.

During an interview at the Adopt-a-Fire-House event, Bruce revealed that his next movie will be National Treasure 2. We're still collecting information on this one, but it is currently in production and what we have is on the new pages devoted to the film.

And finally there are two new pages covering Bruce's two gigs last Saturday night in Los Angeles. The first gig was with Gregg Henry at Genghis Cohen and that one's covered quite thoroughly within the Music Directory. Although more information is needed to fully report on the second gig, it is covered in the Fan Report, which can be found within the The Fan Connection

There's some new information on Bruce's high profile upcoming film I'm Not There. It's due to debut at the Cannes International Film Festival in May with a September 21st release date to follow. That news is on the main page of the film as well as on The Latest News page. There's also a new Related Sites page, which so far has only one entry - a rather interesting support site for the film.

Bruce is scheduled to sing with best buddy Gregg Henry next weekend at Genghis Cohen. Full information is available on Gregg's site at gregghenry.com. Several of us plan to go, so reports will follow. And I finally caught up with the last Genghis gig report, which happened in January - both the official Gregg Henry at Genghis Cohen along with the more newsy Fan Report from Gayle Watson, who attended.

I also added a brief report on the Steppenwolf Theater Celebrity Golf Tournament in which Bruce participated earlier this month.

Lots and lots of new things have been added to Firehouse Dog in anticipation of its upcoming release over Easter weekend, including a new Published Photos page, as well as a new Related Sites page that includes links to trailers. In addition there's Full Credits and new Quotes.

I also added a new page on the birthday gift we gave Bruce for his 50th birthday. His birthday was, of course, in August, but we didn't actually connect until January. That page is in the Fan Connection area and is entitled Birthday 2006
